Obstetricians and gynecologists are specialist doctors who work in women's health care... Gynecology is the care of women with problems of the female reproductive system (ovaries, tubes, womb, cervix, vagina).
Gyne. Incl. C-Sections
A Cesarean section, or C-section, is a method of delivering a baby through a surgical incision in the mother’s abdomen. Many pregnant women prefer to give birth naturally, but your OB/GYN may recommend a C-section if certain health problems, such as high blood pressure or diabetes, make vaginal birth too risky. Often, however, the need for a first-time C-section doesn’t become obvious until labor is underway.
